A:
If you download robomongo from here:
It comes as both a source and an installer. Both are for 64-bit Windows systems.
If you really need to run it under 32-bit Windows you can manually compile it from source. That involves several steps, so I strongly suggest you to use the installer for a simple and painless installation.
To compile it yourself you have to do:
Download robomongo source code. You can find it in download section of the robomongo page, or as the latest release version here:
Go to the directory where you downloaded the source. Now you have two options:
Edit the Makefile and change CompilerType to Win32.
Download and build GnuWin32. There's a pre-built package for all version of Windows up to and including Windows 7.
If you went with the first option you need to go to the directory where you have downloaded the source, edit the Makefile and change the compiler as explained here.
If you went with the second option, download and install the latest version of GnuWin32 from here:
If you are on Windows 7 64-bit you have to download version 4.9.0 and use the GnuWin32 7.0 package.
Now, that you have got a 32-bit version of robomongo you can simply run it. Run the executable and it will launch the gui.
Q:
Using multiple threads to do the same operation on a list of lists
I want to use multiple threads to do the same operation on a list of lists. I found a very good explanation here.
I want to do it like the following:
class ThreadWorker(threading.Thread):
def __init__(self):
super().__init__()
self.running = True
self.worker_id = threading.current_thread().ident
def run(self):
global queue
print('starting')
while self.running 01e38acffe
